Social & Recreational Activities for Children with Autism
Offers the PLAY (Play and Language for Autistic Youngsters) Project, an intensive, home-based program focused on helping children with autism ages 2 to 6 build relationships and learn to engage, interact and communicate with others.
**Currently this program is self-pay only but they are working on a way to bill insurance.
Parent Support for Children with Special Needs
Offers “Sibshops,” programs for typically developing brothers and sisters who have a sibling with a disability or chronic health condition. Sibshops for 5 – 11 year-olds are held one Saturday per month and Sibshops for 12 -17 year-olds are held one Thursday evening per month.
Therapy & Evaluation Services in the Community
This clinic helps infants, children and adolescents who have special needs, such as cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, muscular dystrophy, neurobehavioral disorders and hearing impairments.
