Parent Support

Kinship Care program: This group provides support to grandparents and relatives who have the unique responsibility of raising the children of a relative. Kinship Care Support connects you and the children in your care to resources and a community of other families in the same situation.

Due to COVID-19 Kinship meetings meet virtually the 2nd Tues & 4th Thurs 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM.

Community Mental Health Resources

Provides counseling & behavioral health services and accepts Apple Health (Medicaid) for payment. Some clinics may also offer a reduced rate or sliding fee scale. Please call for more details on specific services.

Offers counseling and case management for children, youth and teens

Parents as Teachers

Healthy Start is a voluntary home visiting parenting support FREE program using the Parents as Teachers curriculum; the three pillars of Parents as Teachers are Parent-Child Interaction, Development-Centered Parenting, and Family Well-Being. This service is for caregivers ages 24 and under, enrolls prenatally and up to child’s 1st birthday, and is offered to residents living in the South King County area.
