Prepares Pregnancy & Parent Support Program

Parent support services offered to anyone in WA State from pregnancy through a child’s 5th birthday. Find your local contact for information & enrollment details. Prepares is sponsored by the Catholic Church and is run by volunteers. Services include:
- Basic Needs/Baby Supplies
- Parenting Support Groups
- Play Groups
- Family Companions

Free parent education, support and classes offered, such as:

Beyond Birth Seattle

Parents may make appointments to discuss any challenging parenting issues such as:

-returning to work
-balancing work and family life
-Low milk supply support
-anticipatory guidance with baby and sleep
-developing healthy infant eating habits
-lactation home and clinic visit referrals

Parents will be offered an array of possible approaches to their challenges based on current and anticipated infant development, pediatric recommendations, and the parent’s own individual philosophy and style of parenting.
