Island County Maternal Child Health Program

Public Health Nurses may make home or office visits to pregnant or postpartum women, newborn children and teens when the mother is not eligible for Maternity Support Services. This program is available to residents of Island County.

Joyce Sobel Family Resource Center

- Offers parenting classes and special workshops on parenting topics

- Offers In-home Parent Support program called “SafeCare Home Visiting Program”

Korean Community Service Center

Provides support for parents who are Korean/Korean American in the form of parenting classes, support groups and the Healing Cafe.

The support group is held virtually, and offers a safe and open space for parents to come together, share experiences, ask questions and receive peer support. Call for more information.

Living Well Kent Collaborative

Living Well Kent (LWK) is a community driven coalition of residents, non-profits, businesses and government leaders working together for Kent. LWK’s programs range from food access and health & wellness, to childcare services and youth empowerment initiatives. Call for more information.
