Offers a variety of social activities for kids & teens. Currently offering Gift of Time respite program. This program strengthens families with tweens and teens, age 11 – 19 with autism by giving the parents or caregivers a much needed break and youth
a fun day of recreation and socialization.

Aspiring Youth Program

Provides creative social skills groups, summer camps, tutoring and other services for students ages 8 and up. Programs are geared for children and youth with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities or other similar traits.

Groups and programs meet in Seattle (Ryther), Bellevue, Redmond, West Seattle and South Seattle

Autism Empowerment

Serves Clark County & the Portland Metro area. Many support groups, including support for Dads and male caregivers, as well as social activities offered. Please call and leave a message (allow 1-2 business days for a response) or visit website for more detailed information.

An Autism Social Learning Club created by parents for kids. Offers parent support, social groups & resource guides.

Connections Educational & Behavioral Services

Social Groups: are designed to teach children with social deficits the appropriate social, community, and leisure skills necessary to help them make and maintain friendships. Participants learn and practice in a variety of locations to increase generalization to natural settings, promote a range of successful peer interactions, and strengthen community skills.

Note: This provider is not able to accept direct payments from insurance companies at this time, so families pay out of pocket, and submit invoices to their insurance company for reimbursement. Be sure to contact your insurance company to check that this service is reimbursable.

Offers a therapeutic recreational day camp in July & August for children and young adults with autism in Whatcom County. Please call for more detailed information.

Provides free theatre acting classes and other recreational activities for children with disabilities.

Kindering Center (Bellevue)

Some children need specialized support to reach their full potential or to keep pace with their peers. KidsClinic private therapy and Wings Social Dyads are available for children ages of birth through ten years old. Both are designed to foster each child’s abilities and independence.

Mary Bridge Children's Therapy Unit

Offers the PLAY (Play and Language for Autistic Youngsters) Project, an intensive, home-based program focused on helping children with autism ages 2 to 6 build relationships and learn to engage, interact and communicate with others.

**Currently this program is self-pay only but they are working on a way to bill insurance.
